SKITUS Foundation
At the beginning of 2018, we came up with the idea that some of our company’s profits be ploughed back into a socially useful activity aimed at helping others. Our decisions were followed by actual steps thus we created the SKITUS Foundation at the end of the year.
Our principles are the followings:
- our main goal is to support healthcare and education
- we refrain from financial donation, therefore …
- …we give priority to those projects that require the manual work of our colleagues.
Since SKITUS Group is behind the foundation and our colleagues provide help with their work, we have no operational cost, that is, the support from the company goes to the beneficiary in full.
The activity of the Foundation until now:
Our first task was to help the work of the Haematology and Stem Cell Transplantation Department of St. László Hospital, to improve the living conditions of the patients.
Since we know the functioning of the hospital from the inside and regularly consult with the hospital staff, we know precisely how we can ease their work.
In March 2019, we supported the St. László Hospital with several medical devices.
The SKITUS Group Foundation has closed another successful action: Vivien Pestovics suffers from an up until now incurable genetic disease, cystic fibrosis.
We have passed our donation to Vivien and her family: we helped her healing with clothes, non-prescription medicines and nebulizers needed for inhalation.
Our activities are still not over, we are going to support education and healthcare in the future, we are looking forward to the support of other corporations and companies!
Our foundation allocated new tools to where it was necessary in May 2019: to the Haematology and Stem Cell Transplantation Department of the St. László Hospital.
Our primary goal is to support education and healthcare, so we continue to look for the help of those who consider this noble purpose as a priority so that we could help those who truly need it.
